Much of what affects your teeth happens where we can’t see directly — between teeth, below the gumline, and inside the bone. X-rays reveal decay starting between teeth, infection at a root tip, bone loss from gum disease, and the position of developing or impacted teeth, often long before there are symptoms. Catching these early usually means a smaller, simpler fix.

Because the images appear instantly on screen, we can zoom in and show you exactly what we’re seeing — so a recommendation is something you understand, not just something you’re told.

We take X-rays only when they add real value to your care, and the digital sensors use significantly less radiation than old film. How often you need images depends on your age, history, and risk factors rather than a fixed schedule. If you have recent X-rays from another office, we’re glad to use them and avoid repeating anything unnecessary.

The process is easy: a small sensor captures the image and it appears on screen in seconds — no waiting for film to develop.
