Why patients choose clear aligners
Invisalign aligners are nearly invisible and removable, so you can eat what you like and keep your routine — many people barely notice you’re straightening your smile.
Because alignment also affects your bite, we plan treatment with function in mind, not just appearance.
How Invisalign treatment works
Treatment starts with a digital scan and a plan that maps how your teeth will move, step by step, to their final position. You then wear a series of clear, custom aligners, switching to the next set roughly every week or two as your teeth gently shift. Each aligner is a small, precise move toward the finished result.
Aligners are removable, so you take them out to eat, brush, and floss normally — but they work best worn about 20–22 hours a day. Periodic check-ins let us confirm your progress and keep things on track.
Life with clear aligners — and keeping your result
Because there are no brackets or wires, most people find aligners comfortable and easy to live with, and there are no food restrictions when they’re out. After treatment, a retainer holds your new smile in place — teeth naturally drift over a lifetime, so wearing a retainer as directed is what protects the investment you made.
Common questions
- No. Beyond appearance, crooked teeth are harder to clean, which lets plaque and tartar build up, and they can throw off your bite — leading to uneven wear on your teeth or painful TMJ symptoms. Straightening can improve both how your smile looks and how it functions.
- It varies with your goals and how much movement is needed, commonly several months to over a year. We’ll give you a personalized estimate after evaluating your smile.
- Invisalign treats many alignment concerns, but not every case. A consultation is the way to know — we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s a good fit or whether another option suits you better.
